VOGUE HK X Eco Marine Adventure Cleanup presents: Paddleboard and Family Cleanup!
Sunday, 19 May 2019 | 2:00pm to 6:30pm

Event:
Vogue HK and Eco Marine are hosting a family friendly beach cleanup and paddleboarding on Sunday 19 May, 2019 at Stanley Main Beach. Eco Marine hosts Keilem and Salome (Tel/Whatsapp 63920336) will meet you at Stanley Main Beach at 2:00pm. After a welcome photo and safety briefing, the group will split into two—one group will paddleboard whilst the other group will walk. The beach cleanup site will be an adjacent beach that is non-gazetted (i.e. does not have daily government cleaning). The paddle boarding is expected to take 30 minutes and the walk will be around 10 to 20 minutes (easy walking).

We will work on beach cleanup from arrival at around 2:30pm to 6:30pm (including some breaks). Eco Marine will distribute gloves and rubbish bags at the beach and will provide cleanup guidance and first aid support. If you have your own gloves and or other equipment, please feel free to bring these. Some useful tools are tongs and gardening shears. We will gather up as much man made rubbish and debris as we can in the available time. At 6:15pm we will pack up and depart. Paddleboarders will need to paddleboard back to the main beach to return the boards before 6pm. The event is expected to end around 6:30pm.

Vogue HK will be filming this event to share on their social media channels to coincide with their June issue which will feature an article on making change. Those attending this event are deemed to have consented to being filmed.
